  • Rail Position: True.
  • Track Conditions: Good 4.
  • Track Comments: Can generally make ground here as they do tend to use most of the straight in the run home. Middle to outside lanes can be favorable as a card wears on.

Race 6, No. 1 CAFE TORTONI

Was a brilliant albeit wayward winner here at start number two before going to Warrnambool and somehow losing his latest in a protest when he was clearly pulling away from Kepi Blanc late. Looks ready for the rise in trip, has had a solid hit-out at the trials since then and a wide gate at Sale isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Race 8, No. 3 ELAM

Local galloper who was unlucky when steeping up to a BM70 on the synthetic last start and didn't handle the heavy track as favorite prior to that here in a similar race. The last time he was on a good surface he was runner-up to the very promising Not Enough Effort which reads for this BM64 at around a $7 quote.

Michael Dee has ridden the most winners at Sale this season (11) and at 26.8%, he has the best strike rate as well. He has 4 rides today.

Fair effort to place first up and has been well supported from a double figure opening price ($10.00 - $5.50)

Leg 1: 4,5,9

Leg 2: 1

Leg 3: 1,2,3,6,7,10,11

Leg 4: 1,3,6,10,14

$42 gets you 40%.

Race 1: No selections.
