Race 3, No. 3 COMBATIVITE
Just missed with a bob of the head last start and has been finishing on in her races indicating the distance rise should bring the best out in her. The 2 kilo claim for Baylee Nothdurft gets her in nicely at the weights with 53.5 kgs so expect this Tony Gollan trained mare to break her maiden.
Race 5, No. 2 DREAMTIMER
Was close up behind The Candy Man last prep who won seven straight around that time. Hasn't missed a place in all six starts to date and has two wins also. Draws a wide gate though does generally race handy to the speed so in a race where a couple of the fancied runners are jumping in class he represents good each way value at $15.
Jim Byrne is having a purple patch to the start of the season with 9 wins at 29% and a whopping 34% ROI. Byrne has 4 rides today.
Race 4, No. 2 SMOOTH MOVE
Very good last run and has been crunched today. $5.50 into $3.60 is a strong move.
Leg 1: 2,3,4,6,12,13.
Leg 2: 2,3,5,7
Leg 3: 2,8.
Leg 4: 9.
$48 gets you 100%
Race 1: 5,2,3,4. The rails draw here for Sugar Zone could be a factor as he has raced a bit wide at his only two starts to date. The extra distance appears to suit also.
Race 2: 3,1,6,5. Going to forgive Char Char on his last run just in case he had a headache that day as I thought he was a good thing. Draws to get a good run.
Race 3: 3,8,2,9. Best Bet. Combativite.
Race 4: 2,1,10,9. Smooth Move fought hard behind Heritage Sash who has since won a Class 1 also. Has to go close.
Race 5: 3,4,2,12. Value Bet. Dreamtimer
Race 6: 7,5,3,2. Desert Digby comes out of a strong form 3 YR Old race behind Hold The Line.
Race 7: 2,8,1,9. Constant Flight goes well fresh and was under a hold at a recent trial.
Race 8: 9,5,1,4. Stampe did get the gun rails run with his last start win over this course and draws to get the same here and also drops 1.5 kilos.
