3 months ago Tips
  • Rail Position: Out 3 metres Entire Course.
  • Track Conditions: Soft 6
  • Track Comments: Watch for any form reversals for horses who have flopped on heavy tracks or on the other side horses performing better in the wet.

Race 3, No. 7 INGEAR

Was ultra impressive on debut running the best time of the day over the 1200M course. Looks a really nice filly in the making and should take up the running and win again.

Race 6, No. 10 CHAR CHAR

Was a huge run (three wide the trip) behind Karakabeel at Eagle Farm. Draws barrier 2 here and will get a much better run in transit this time. Right in this at the good odds of $8.50 each way.

Jeff Lloyd has a good book of 7 rides on the final day of his riding career. For the past 12 months Lloyd has a winning strike rate of 20%. The Champion hoop has also won the past 4 Queensland Metro jockeys premierships including this season.

Race 8, No. 14 PIPPIE

Bookies dangled the bait out for this former Melbourne trained filly who showed a touch of class in her 3 runs there. $3.10 into $2.45.

Leg 1: 2,4,7,10,11.

Leg 2: 3,4,5,10,9

Leg 3: 2,12,14.

Leg 4: 1,5,6,7,9.

$75 gets you 20%

Selections

Race 1: 7,9,3,10. Kings Full comes off a 6 week break though has won a recent trial. Form looks good enough for this.

Race 2: 2,3,1,6. Another Dollar has become a bit of a placings specialist which is the only concern however this looks her best chance to win one at this trip.

Race 3: 7,6,5,1. Best bet. Ingear.

Race 4: 12,10,5,2. Mr Storm was rearward and wide last run after leading them up for a close second the run before. Drawn well and could get the favours this time.

Race 5: 4,5,2,1. Snitch has been thereabouts in listed races at his past couple. Gets his chance to breakthrough.

Race 6: 10,8,4,2. Value bet. Char Char

Race 7: 3,9,4,2. Snipstream likes to serve up the pressure to his rivals on straightening and has done so comfortably winning his past two. Should be in a good position to control the race again and get them in his slipstream.

Race 8: 12,14,10,4. Flower Of Love won with a fair bit in hand last time and could be the one on the up.

Race 9: 5,1,6,9. Rock Beat rattled late when out of his ground at Ipswich and Desert Digby who finished close to him won his next start. Gun jock onboard in Maloney.
