Race 1 - GROUP 3 ALBANY STAKES (1207M):

Friday’s opener can go the way of Wesley Ward’s 5. CHILI PETIN. She was a winner on debut at Keeneland in April, showing a great attitude to make all in convincing fashion. With her pedigree suggesting that she will relish a stiff six furlongs, she should be tough to beat from the front.

Race 2 - GROUP 2 KING EDWARD VII STAKES (2400M):

7. PONDUS arrives here on the back of successive novice wins at Nottingham and Sandown. This is his toughest assignment to date, but he still looks completely unexposed, so should have further improvement in the locker. With these ground conditions of no concern, he gets the vote today.
