Race 1, No. 3 AUSFALL
We can get the money early as this Matthew Dunn trained mare got home at a rate of knots when then didn't go hard at all over this course. Robbie Fradd gets the ride and shouldn't be as far back in the field this time with just the 7 runners so should be getting home too hard for them.
Race 5, No. 5 PROUD CAPTAIN
Worked home nicely at Ipswich over the mile and will enjoy the step up in trip and open spaces. Blake Shinn should be able to take up a handy trailing position to stalk the speed and produce in the straight. $7 appears good each way value.
Trainer Stuart Kendrick is going at a 21% win strike rate at his past 100 starters and has five runners and will be interesting to see if his first starter in Race 3 Invincible Faith runs up to his trial performance.
Race 5, No. 4 SPANISH HURRICANE
With scratchings impacting on betting a fair bit in most races this Matthew Dunn runner has been the best backed so far. $5 into $2.70.

Race 1: 3,4,7,8. Best bet. Ausfall .
Race 2: 1,5,2,3. Intrigue ran second in Group 2 company at Ellerslie two starts back over 2100M before an even effort at the Gold Coast back in distance.
Race 3: 10,5,6,7. Exposed form isn't showing us enough so following the betting lead here with the first starter Snitzel filly Carrera To The Max. Invincible Faith trialed nicely.
Race 4: 3,6,1,8. Ready To Roam ran a couple of nice placings behind the smart The Odyssey which has to bring him into calculations in this.
Race 5: 5,4,6,2. Value Bet. Proud Captain
Race 6: 7,10,5,1. Totally Charmed is racing like he needs the 1400M. Gets an opportunity to break though.
Race 7: 9,3,4,1. Vienna Moon is racing in great form this preparation and just needs the favours from the wide draw.
Race 8: 2,4,9,6. Plumaro is a strong finisher and has won first up in the past. Competed in Group 3 and Listed races so if he''s wound up will be hard to hold out late.
