  • Rail Position: +14m 1200m to 400m, +12m 400m to WP, +9m Remainder, Sectional 619m.
  • Track Conditions: Good 4.
  • Track Comments: Rail is out a fair but I don't exppect any bias at this stage, especially if it's the good range.

Race 4, No. 4 MORVADA

Has a bit of class when right this 5yo who deserves win number 4. Fit now after 3 runs back and hasn't had any run to suit in his last 2 efforts when finishing off strongly. Toeroek has a few more options at a mile, drops 4.5kg from 2 weeks ago and this looms a bit of a d-day.

Race 7, No. 9 DATURA

None of these win out of turn but this 5yo is generally thereabouts. Unlucky fresh when fourth and that form has stood up with that winner since going on with it and Caraluisa came out of that to bolt in at her next outing. Bad race but is in the each way mix at around $13.

Hats off to Grant Young who turned around the veteran stayer Olympic Academy that looked finished in NSW but the 8yo has picked up over 100k in prize money since October when he started in SA with 4 wins, is 1/1 at this track/trip and knocks into a very winnable race in the opener.

Race 6, No. 5 BEHAVE

Has a good record with these tried horses does Will Clarken and this mare must be showing plenty at home as you couldn't back it with stolen money off what it's done so far, although it is a weak race ($6.00 - $3.10).

Leg 1: 1,3,4

Leg 2: 1,5,9

Leg 3: 5,7,8

Leg 4: 1,4,5,12,13,14

$81 gets you 50%.

Race 1: 1-2-6-5. Sticking with the old boy Olympic Academy in the donkey derby. They can throw up anything but he's the only one in form.

Race 2: 7-6-1-2. Open 3yo race but there was enough to like about Small Scale's debut win. This is obviously tougher but has the same form through Grabbing Glory as the fav does.

Race 3: 2-4-5-3. Denied 3 in a row last start after he just got a little too far back. This isn't strong and he should be able to get the run of the race from 1.

Race 4: 4-1-2-3. Best Bet see above.

Race 5: 1-3-4-7. Good race, thought Holy Command was entitled be a little shorter than $5-6. Class galloper in this, trial good and has upside.

Race 6: 9-1-5-4. Bolter see above.

Race 7: 7-5-8-4. Has to handle the back-up from last week but this is easier and she's much better ridden a little colder. Draws for a nice sit here.

Race 8: 5-12-14-4. Fair old raffle to finish. Might be the each way value at $11 off the good fresh win. Market may tell us if that flattened him but no world beaters in this.
