Race 7, No. 3 DEBT COLLECTOR
Doesn't look a card with many standouts but I think this 4yo has the brilliance to be putting this lot away in the feature with the right run home. 1400m did the trick last start and I don't think he necessarily has to get as far back here from the better gate. Look for him late.
Race 2, No. 4 REGALO DI GAETANO
Lovely type and the trial before his debut was terrific. Ran midfield at Murray Bridge and on face value he was plain but I just don't think he balanced up at all over the 900m. Still a query runner but so are all of these and there's more in his favor here. At $12, he's creates some each way interest.
As always, Jamie Kah is the most reliable hoop to follow in Adelaide and backs that up this season with a 31.4% and 62.8% w/p strike rate on the Parks track so far. She has 7 rides at this meeting.
Race 4, No. 6 INSTITUTION
First up and was supported as soon as markets opened ($4.40-$2.80)
Leg 1: 1,2
Leg 2: 4,5,6,7
Leg 3: 3
Leg 4: 2,6,7,12,14
$40 gets you 100%.
Race 1: 5-6-4-3. Respect the betting but she's the only one with race experience, has speed and was only nabbed late on debut.
Race 2: 4-2-1-3. Bolter see above.
Race 3: 1-7-8-12. Shocker of a race but he got home well in his SA debut in a decent maiden and they've put the winkers on. Rise in trip suits.
Race 4: 3-1-2-6. Her best would win this and win it well but she's near impossible to trust.
Race 5: 2-1-3-4. Looks a good price in this at $6 Lord Topper. Very honest, can carry weight and should get a good run close to the speed.
Race 6: 5-4-7-6. She's burnt me at least a few times but the fresh effort was good and rates well for this.
Race 7: 3-2-16-5. Best Bet see above.
Race 8: 14-6-7-12. Tough finish but her return was very good over 1000m which was too short. Steps up in trip and it's a pretty weak race if she's not flat.
