Race 3, No. 4 ARTIE DEE TWO
Stuck to the task reasonably well at Flemington and I think he ticks a few more boxes back around a bend here and getting back on a wet track. Has won 1/6 this time in and has been a unlucky not to win 1-2 more. Query on how well his opposition is going, is in good hands with Kah from gate 1 and he should be putting them away.
Race 2, No. 1 VICTORY DOWNS
Getting $9 for the class runner of this and I'm prepared to forgive the midfield Mildura Cup effort where he got too far back, was 5 weeks between runs and is a veteran that appears to appreciating the wet tracks these days (won the Swan Hill Cup on a heavy 10 three back). Respecting Red Choux's, but I couldn't take the $1.60 about him.
Todd Pannell is a very underrated hoop who has been striking at close to 20% on the Parks circuit over the last 12 months and he has 6 rides today.
Race 7, No. 5 FANCY RUMBLE
Surprised they put up $3 as I think only bad luck from the inside gate beats her. Now into $2.40 and could very well start shorter.
Leg 1: 3,4,5,8
Leg 2: 1,4,6,8,9,12
Leg 3: 5
Leg 4: 4,6,8
$36 gets you 50%.
Race 1: 6-4-2-1. Four horse race and it could throw up anything. Carlaluisa possibly looking for this trip now.
Race 2: 1-4-3-2. Bolter see above.
Race 3: 4-5-3-7. Best Bet see above.
Race 4: 2-1-7-8. You generally get a run for your money with The Willybe in these races. Wouldn't mind him taking off a little earlier and on a 1x3 basis, he looks a bet at $5-$6.
Race 5: 4-5-8-9. Tricky little race but Balwarra Gold has some upside and could be the each way bet at $7. Handles the conditions and goes well fresh.
Race 6: 8-1-9-6. She looks ready to peak and has a decent weight swing on the fav. Genuine heavy track the query.
Race 7: 5-9-7-6. Comes out of a hot race first up and placed second up at Listed level last time in. Will need a bit of luck from gate 1 but has a class edge on these.
Race 8: 6-8-4-3. Deserved that win at Gawler and gets in superbly here with the 3kg claim. Should be thereabouts.
