Race 6, No. 8 NOTHING BUT A SAGA
Third up today on her home deck where she has a strong record. Hard to make ground at Bendigo and she knocked into a handy one first up here who spanked them again at his next start and is running at Flemington on Saturday. Speed looks good in this small field and she can come over the top late.
Race 3, No. 11 DEOKYHE
Resumes here off two jump-outs and there doesn't look any world beaters out of the raced brigade. Was strong on debut in a decent maiden where she had a bit on Darmasun who subsequently placed in town. Getting around $8-$9 here which looks a decent each way quote to find out.
Darren Weir is striking at close to 45% this season at Kyneton and has runners in 6 of the 9 races today.
Race 5, No. 6 FORSURE
Draws for the run of the race and the Harbour Grey form reads well for this ($5.00-$3.60).
Leg 1: 8
Leg 2: 1,2,3,5,6,8,9,12
Leg 3: 1,2,6,7
Leg 4: 2,5,8
$48 gets you 50%.
Race 1: 7-8-4-3. Impeccably bred and this trip should suit at his third run in.
Race 2: 10-7-3-2. She was good fresh but I'd be respecting the betting here in a tough race to line up.
Race 3: 11-12-6-2. Best Value see above.
Race 4: 4-5-6-10. Did have excuses at Pakenham and wasn't beaten far. This might be a shade easier.
Race 5: 4-6-5-2. Competitive little race but he is very honest and should be right in the finish again.
Race 6: 8-7-3-6. Best Bet see above.
Race 7: 6-12-5-8. Plenty could win this but she was given a shocking ride in Adelaide and won her last start in this grade.
Race 8: 6-7-2-1. In on the minimum and does look the one to beat off his Moe Cup effort.
Race 9: 5-2-8-6. He'll get over further but has the class to be right in this first up.
