Ipswich - Wednesday November 21

  • Rail Position: Out 2.5 metres Entire Course
  • Track Conditions: Good 4
  • Track Comments: Pays to be in the first half of the field in the straight.

Race 7, No. 5 LILIKAI

Is looking for the mile now after running a fairly quick final 600M and was strong through the line last time. Has raced in better grades in comparison to this Class 1 and should position just off the speed and have the class edge on these.

Race 9, No. 5 AUERBACH

Raced handy and stuck to his guns to win at the Gold Coast. If he can find a spot close to the pace again from the wide gate he will be hard to get past and is value at the $6 quote in what is an open race.

Trainer Tony Gollan is having a good run at the moment winning 5 from his past 10 starters at 50%. Gollan is also going at 80% the place over that same period and has 5 good runners today so keep an eye out on him.

Race 1, No. 9 SILVERLINK

There has been good money for a few runners today. $3.10 into $1.85 is a great lead for a first starter in Silverlink while in Race 6 no. 10 Kay Kay Boy has been heavily backed $2.90 into $1.85.

Leg 1: 1,2,3,4,6

Leg 2: 10

Leg 3: 5

Leg 4: FIELD

We're overdue so we're not pussyfooting around today.  $60 gets you 100%

Selections

Race 1: 9,8,4,11. Trial run back in May looked good. Leading rider (Maloney)engaged.

Race 2: 2,4,5,1. Annatime did run past Bright Idea last run before an ok run in a better field. Watch if there is money for former Victorian mare Cymbalism.

Race 3: 1,2,5,4. Bluebrook impressed prior to a break and has form around the impressive Zousain.

Race 4: 6,7,8,11. Tatcee won fresh first campaign.

Race 5: 3,6,1,2. Redex might just be too speedy again over the scamper. Interesting race.

Race 6: 10,2,5,3. Kay Kay Boy should be better for his first up run. The claim will give him a big advantage.

Race 7: 5,2,1,7. Best Bet. Lilikai.

Race 8: 5,3,4,12. Value Bet. Auerbach.
