Race 3, No. 5 SMUG SATISFACTION
Was far too good at Murwillumbah and has raced in this grade previous to that run. Liked the way she was strong at the end of her last win suggesting the step up to 1400 metres shouldn't be an issue. Michael Cahill may elect to go forward and control the pace which will make her very hard to run down.
Race 4, No. 4 CRAFTY SPIRIT
Was three wide the trip behind Plumaro last run so from barrier 4 should get a better run this time and the favourite Hold The Line is untried at 1400 metres. Worth an each way play at $14.
Jockey Jeff Lloyd is keeping up his consistent winning strike rate average which this season is at 24.7%. Has ridden the third most Metro winners (38) in all of Australia this season also.
Race 8, No. 3 MUDDY ROPE
Has been well backed on the back of an OK effort last time where he appeared to have every chance. $5.50 into $3.80.
Leg 1: 8
Leg 2: 3,8,11,13
Leg 3: 2,7
Leg 4: 4,11,12,13

Race 1: 1,2,4,9. A couple of debutants trialed well. Byron Buoy was strong at the end of his.
Race 2: 1,2,4,3. Basara is coming out of a good form race behind Chapter And Verse.
Race 3: 5,2,1,4. Best Bet. Smug Satisfaction.
Race 4: 4,8,3,6 Value Bet. Crafty Spirit.
Race 5: 8,1,3,2. Amthaal had nothing more than a track gallop last time. Should be too good again.
Race 6: 11,8,3,17. Phoenix Global trialed OK before first prep so should be better prepared this time in.
Race 7: 7,4,10,2. True Myth should race handy to the speed and impressed last time.
Race 8: 11,4,6,12. Dream Master was forced to sit three wide last run and stuck on pretty well. Draws wide again so Ryan Maloney will need to be on his game.
