Race 8, No. 6 VICTOREM
Got a little out of his ground however finished off brilliantly to just miss behind Most Important. The Jenny Graham stable hasn't had a lot of luck of late and I can see things turning around here as this horse has developed into a very good type. Third up should be fitter and will be too good this time.
Race 1, No. 1 GOOD TIME CHARLIE
Got home very hard to finish second behind Chapter And Verse and the third and fourth horses in that race both won at the Gold Coast Wednesday. Charlie's winning strike rate could be better though his current form suggests he is right in this on an each way basis at $9.
Jockey BRAD STEWART is riding on high winning 4 of his past 10 mounts. He has also placed in 8 of those 10 runs and is striking at 18% this season. Stewart has 7 rides and should add to his winning run.
Race 1, No. 5 SPIRIT AND FIRE
There's confidence around this one as was a close up second first up and is $11 into $5.
