Race 8, No. 3 TEODORA
Will need a pinch of luck from out wide but she is versatile and the form has stood from her strong second up run when finishing next to Saturday's winner Supre. This is much easier, she has a touch of class and this is a field she really should be putting away.
Race 6, No. 4 LOTZA FOCUS
Well placed back to a BM64 with the claim and ran second albeit no match for a sharp one at the Valley in what's been a handy enough form race. They should run along here, he's found his right race and looks the each way bet at $8 in a rather open line-up.
Mark Zahra rode a double here on Saturday, has a winning strike of 22% since mid November and he looks to have some strong chances amongst his 6 rides today.
Race 7, No. 2 ROSSMAN
The $5.50 looked generous for the progressive horse in a pretty thin field and the punters agree. Into $3.00 now which looks about right.
Leg 1: 1,3,8,9
Leg 2: 2,4,6,8,9,10
Leg 3: 1,2,7,10
Leg 4: 3
$48 gets you 50%.
Race 1: 6-14-7-8. First starter that's been impressive at the jumpouts but the late betting could tell us more.
Race 2: 6-13-1-2. Impressive first up at Sandown and this isn't a strong fillies race. Should be going on with it.
Race 3: 9-3-8-1. Good little field and there was plenty to like about his Werribee win. Step up to a mile is a tick.
Race 4: 5-2-3-4. Tough race, he'll make on luck on speed from 1 and only goes up half a kilo off his last start win. Each way.
Race 5: 8-3-1-9. Forgive his second up effort at the Valley where he had no luck. Up in grade but Oliver sticks and I suspect he's the strongest stayer amongst these.
Race 6: 4-6-2-8. Bolter see above.
Race 7: 2-10-1-7. Happy to follow the money here. Did enough fresh but expect improvement and was a second up winner at this trip in his first prep.
Race 8: 3-4-2-9. Best Bet see above.
