Race 2, No. 1 SHAPITA
Speedy 3yo filly from the Miller yard who is two from two first up and gets in really well with the Chloe Azzopardi claim. Will push forward from barrier 5 and I think she'll have a class edge on this lot.
Race 7, No. 2 UNCLE LINO
Really liked this blokes run last start, having a look through this race, there isn't a whole lot of speed, so I suspect he'll be in front for a long way. Draws well in barrier 5, so shouldn't have to do much work from the gate and be able to control the tempo, distance looks perfect third up from a break. Play him 1 the win by 2 the place and I think we can be in the money.
Apprentice jockey Brodie Kirby is back in a big way, he booted home four winners from his 6 rides on Saturday. He's got four good chances to continue to add to his great recent form.
Race 1, No. 6 TRAMIKA
Heavily supported first starter from the Simon Miller stable, opened at $7 and is now the $4.60 second favourite.
Leg 1: 3,4,7,11
Leg 2: 1,2,3,5,7
Leg 3: 1,3,5
Leg 4: 1,2,4,5
$60 gets you 25%
Race 1: 6,1,3,9 (2yo Simon Miller trained gallopers need to be kept very safe, trialled well, War Saint hardest to beat)
Race 2: 1,2,6,8 (BEST BET)
Race 3: 1,6,5,4 (Competitive little race, Amelie Margot is a talented mare, who is two from three first up and Mankind has plenty of upside and Pike steers)
Race 4: 11,4,8,7 (Tricky race, with plenty of these having their fair share of chances, go wide in the quaddie)
Race 5: 1,7,3,2 (Stoicism was really good in a stronger race first up, this is much easier and gets in well with the Kirby claim)
Race 6: 3,1,5,6 (State Attorney goes on top, but not the only chance here, couple of other chances though)
Race 7: 2,4,5,1 (BOLTER)
