Sale Race 5, No 2 WENNER
Worth forgiving his first up run at Mornington when drawing wide over the 1200m. Showed above average ability in his first prep when winning his maiden then a BM64 at his next start before finishing up at Caulfield running fifth to Nikitas. Draws for a very soft run from barrier one and will position very close over this trip. Just think he has more upside than these.
Ipswich Race 4, No 3 DOWNLOADING
Workmanlike win first up over 1200m at the Sunshine Coast when leading all the way and the form has been franked since with the second horse Dapper One giving them a spanking at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday. Admittedly this is much tougher but he should land himself on speed on what can be a leaders track with the rail out. Seems a touch of overs about the each way price.
Hawkesbury Race 1, No 1 AONAIR
Thought she'd be shorter in the opener than $2.60. Just too far back at Canterbury and can position up closer here up in trip. Listed form all around her this prep and the Sky Boy form has held up in Melbourne. The midweek 3 year old races start to fall away a little bit now especially at these trips and she won't get a better chance to get win number two on the board.
Bunbury Race 7, No 6 AMBIENTE
Has his issues as a lightly raced horse but he's not short on talent. Probably should be 3 from 3 ...
