Race 1 - (1300 METRES) - BETCHA FLYING - 2nd. Trainer: Chris Waller.
The winner has run it to suit and given this filly was left flat footed at the rear when the sprint came on and had to come around heels to produce her outside run, there was plenty of merit to the performance with a big finish. Her siblings are 8-10 furlong horses and next prep we'll see the best of this one when she gets over that sort of ground.
Race 3 - (1100 METRES) - SIR ELTON - 1st. Trainer: Adam Duggan.
Bomb proof sprinter who's still in his first prep and won stylishly once again to make him unbeaten from three where he's handled all surfaces during this streak and was able to sprint off the strong tempo he sat on which is always a positive sign. Smart galloper and there's plenty of options for him going forward.
Race 7 - (1000 METRES) - DEITY - 3rd. Trainer: James Cummings.
Caught the eye when getting home fresh and ultimately was just a run short here staying at 1000m on heavy going which I don't think she's quite as comfortable on although that said, does get through it. Off a good spell, I expect big improvement third up next start, especially if she can get over 1100m-1200m which she is clearly searching for now.
