Race 1: 1-3-9-12. Best Value see below.
Race 2: 7-10-1-9. Class should take him a long way here and his trial was sharp for the morning around strong heats. Getting each way odds.
Race 3: 7-1-4-5. Tough race but the maiden win was strong first up and can go on with it stepping up to a mile.
Race 4: 4-1-2-6. Race of two but he may be able to knock off the odds-on pop who's untried at the mile and has to carry 60kg.
Race 5: 2-5-6-3. Best Bet see below.
Race 6: 1-2-7-6. Absolute lottery this, anyone's guess.
Race 7: 4-2-5-1. Bolted in last start and she drops 2kg here under handicap conditions. Should win again.
Race 8: 4-1-2-8. Does look short enough at $1.60 but ran into a sharp one last week and the 1400m is a tick.
Race 9: 4-5-2-1. Small field but they could all just about win.
BEST BET: Race 5, No. 2 MANDELA EFFECT
One of the rising stars of Tasmania who was brilliant in Melbourne before being tipped out and resumes off a good trial. We'll see the best of him over a little further but on class he can send a pretty strong message tonight before going on to bigger and better things.
BEST VALUE: Race 1, No. 1 DAY TRADER
Coming off a long lay-off but had shown some ability in his 4 career starts and was a rather soft trial winner in his first public hit-out in Tasmania. Draws to be prominent and for trainer/jockey Siggy Carr can run a big race at $15 in what looks a weak maiden.
Quaddie: 1,2,6,7,8,9,10/4/1,4/FIELD. $35 gets you 50%.
